The UMBC Panhellenic Association is the governing body for the five National Panhellenic Conference sororities on campus.

PHA promotes leadership, scholarship, service, and personal development for members through inter-sorority events. 

PHA is a unifying body for all of the chapters on campus. Each chapter is its own entity and operates independently, and PHA is a manner in which the chapters may become connected. Through PHA, Delta Phi Epsilon, Phi Mu, Phi Sigma Sigma, Alpha Sigma Alpha, and Alpha Sigma Kappa may work together to achieve common goals and through working together our chapters may be brought closer together. Greek Unity is a very important concept to our community and PHA is a mechanism that fosters this unity.
